Eventag is a project by the Calyp team, building AI-powered wearable systems for mobile brain research. We're a small, focused team that values deep thinking, fast iteration, and technology that is both technically rigorous and genuinely useful. Join us.
Help build the core audio intelligence layer of Eventag. Work on signal processing, acoustic event classification, and edge deployment for a wearable AI device that understands the world through sound.
Own Eventag's online presence and build awareness in the academic neuroscience and neurotechnology community. SEO, content, social media, outreach — you'll be our first marketing hire.
Calyp is an early-stage deeptech startup building context-aware intelligent wearable systems. Our current focus is Eventag, a wearable device designed to understand and interpret context from ambient sound in real-world environments. We're a small, focused team that values deep thinking, fast iteration, and building technology that is both technically rigorous and genuinely useful.
We're looking for an early-career AI & ML Engineer to help us build the core audio intelligence layer of Eventag. You'll work on the signal processing and classification pipeline, from raw audio onset detection through to semantic event labelling, and contribute to making it run efficiently on constrained wearable hardware.
This is a hands-on research engineering role. You'll be in the weeds of data, models, and edge deployment. If you find audio ML genuinely exciting, this is the right place. We value strong fundamentals and curiosity more than work experience.
